Green Zoya Comparison: Logan vs Ivanka

Hi again! Sorry for the long delays between posts recently. I've been a little busier than usual, and a little less inspired :(  this has happened to me before, though, and it usually doesn't last long. Hang in there and I'll be posting more frequently again soon.

Anyway, on to the post! No art today, just a quick comparison between two Zoya colours--my old favourite green Ivanka, and a newer similar one called Logan. When Logan came out, I thought they'd made some kind of mistake. It looked like a dupe of her older Czech sister, and I was confused. But, while they are quite similar, there are enough differences to justify having both these beauties!

Purple Zoya Swirl

Good day :)

As I hinted at in my last post, I got some new Zoya polishes in my late-birthday package! Two of them are purple, and I thought they'd be so nice together, I did a swirly-marble mani with them:

Water Marble with Zoya Shimmers & Soulstice Spa Cremes

WELL THAT TITLE WAS A MOUTHFUL, WASN'T IT

Hello! I couldn't think of a snappy title today. I'm actually not feeling very chatty at all... but I do have a new nail design to show you. I love water marbling, but I always tend to go for the same type of look--three shades of the same finish, random marble pattern. To step outside of this rut, I decided to do a 4-colour, 2-finish, flower-shaped marble with two of my favourite brands--Zoya and Soulstice Spa.

Simple Nail Art over Zoya Nidhi

Hallo, me lovelies!

Today's design is one I found that I wore a few months ago and forgot to show you!

It was around Christmas, so I used this gorgeous glassflecky red base colour: Zoya Nidhi.

Nidhi is absolutely one of my favourite polishes ever, and definitely my fav red. Smooth buttery formula, dazzling glassflecky shimmers that change from red to gold to pink to blue, and a one-coater if you're careful with application! Classic shade but with that little spark that sets it apart from the rest. Gawgeous! I applaud you, Zoya.

I *had* to get a pic with this neat red clip-in hair extension! Me so edgy.

The black and white dots are done with acrylic paint, in a sort of half-circle pattern around one side of the nail. For some sparkle I plopped a 3mm crystal in the middle.

It isn't my favourite design ever, but I liked it well enough, if for no other reason than that delightful base colour.

Sorry for the short post! I got sunburned today, and just sitting in this chair is requiring me to hold myself up rather gingerly at an odd angle. Ha. I hope it's better tomorrow--I have a big swatch-and-review post to get up for you, plus some packing to do... More about that later ;) see you then! xoxo
