"Hope"ful Daisies

Hallo :)

Happy birthday to my mother! (Now I'll know if you read my blog or not... muahahaha.)
I've been saving this mani for a little while, as I actually did it before I started my Christmas designs. I feel like these pretty wintery-looking flowers fit in well with the kind of weather she's having back in the northern hemisphere. Plus, it's always good to start the new year with some hope, right? ;)

Today's post, as you can see, features Hope by Picture Polish! This absoutely stunning midnight-blue jelly is packed with their famous "sparks", the scattered holo mini-shreds that look beautiful in any light. It also has these gorgeous blue hex glitters. I'm not actually sure what colour they are originally, but I do know that through the jelly base of this polish they show up all shades of a bright cobalt/electric-blue. I used three thin coats to really get the depth one can achieve with this polish.

Those sparks are actually quite holographic! Let me show you...

See that yummy rainbow? In addition to everything else going on with this beauty, you get treated to little flashes of colour here and there in bright light.

I felt like some delicate silver stamping would be well-suited to such a base, so I used Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Silver Sweep to stamp on the daisy image from Bundle Monster plate BM-016. Then I dotted in the middle of each flower with Zoya Rebel, the perfect blue to compliment those hex glitters.

Finally, Seche Vite to finish it all off.

It looks like this shade is out of stock now, and that's a shame. You may still be able to snag it from one of their stockists!

I "hope" you enjoyed this one. See you next time! xoxo
