Born Pretty Store Review | Diamond Glitter Placement

G'day! Almost through my newest Born Pretty Store haul :D I'm going to fast-track these last two before I head off to a conference in Sydney next week! I'll of course do some special travelling nails, as I always do... But for today, I've got a design showcasing these diamond- (okay, rhombus, you nerd) shaped glitters :D

First, the base polishes! I've used Lacquer Lust Diamond on all nails except the middle one. Two coats of this soft-grey creamy holo is just so pretty, and the name fit nicely :)

For the tips, and the entire middle nail, two coats of OPI Baby It's Coal Outside. This sparkly black goes really nicely with Diamond, I think. I wanted something shimmery yet neutral as a base for these glitters.

Then, I just used topcoat, an orange stick, and a steady hand to place the glitters. I'd intended to do full nail coverage on the middle one, but decided at the last minute that I wanted more of that pretty base to show through, so I opted to do it this way. I then sealed it all in with two more coats of Seche Vite.

The glitters are nice in quality and come in lots of colours, as you can see, and you get heaps of them in the little pot. I've got a Harley Quinn mani in mind already that I can use these for...

If you're interested in these glitters, or any more of Born Pretty Store's items, check out the site! And as always, use my coupon code CITYG10 for a 10% discount :)

Thanks for reading today! See you soon for more xoxo
