Bright Neon Bows

Good day, dolls! :)

Today I wanted to do something bright and happy and fun. I've been itching to paint bows... and I have not used orange in a nail design in a while, so this happened!

Neon doesn't always photograph at it's full potential, but trust me when I say these are very neon and bright! The orange tips are Orly Melt Your Popsicle (over a white base to make 'em really pop), and then the entire nail is covered in a layer of Zoya Gabrielle. Sheer, shimmery orange. Very pretty.

Then for the bows! I used black acrylic paint to outline the entire bow shape, then white to create the sections. The neon yellow I applied over the white is the one you see in the photos: Sinful Colors Neon Melon. Standard highlighter-yellow creme :D  It's all topped with two coats of KBShimmer Clearly On Top.

Indoors with flash -- told ya it was bright!

Outdoors in shade--the shimmer on the bare part of the nail is most visible here.
Outdoors in sun!

I just love how bright and fun they are. We found a gym to join and started this week (woohoo!) and the manager of the place noticed and gushed over these nails. Always makes a girl feel good when that happens! ^_^

Playing with some flowers :)

I hope you liked these! I'm quite enjoying wearing them. Have a gorgeous day! See you next time! xoxo
