Happy "Good Time To Be In North America" Week!

Hiya! Happy Canada Day & Happy July 4th! The USA and Canada are so close together, and so are their big celebration days, so I decided to combine them into one fabulous red, white, and blue manicure:

I just love skittle manis. I'm sure you've noticed ;)

The polsihes I used are Ulta Snow White, Sally Hansen Insta-Dri #280 Rapid Red, and Nina Ultra Pro Cobalt. The red crackle is OPI Red Shatter. Started with a white base for them all. On the smallest finger, I added two silver star glitters and then sprinkled on white glitter around them. Ring finger--a simple diagonal-French tip with the crackle on top.

The maple leaf was stamped on with the same SH red creme and Bundle Monster plate BM-004, and then I filled it in with a small brush, also changing the shape of the outline a bit to make it look more like the Canadian symbol and less like an actual leaf.

For the American flag, I masked off a white nail with striping tape and painted red over most of the nail, then adding a wavy blue tip and some white dots.

What about the thumb, you ask?

White with glitter-placement in the shape of a firework! :D The glitters are from Milani Jewel FX Red.

It's all sealed in with KBShimmer Clearly On Top, some more coats than others. I think I needed four to smooth out the white glitters!

Close-up of thumb and small finger... I really like the firework :D

I hope all my Canadian friends had a lovely day on the 1st, and that you Americans enjoy your 4th! Stay safe and I'll see you next time :) xoxo
