Born Pretty Store Review | Colour-Changing Polish & Floral Stamping

Good day :) Today I'm excited to be sharing more Born Pretty Store goodies with you--and for my 300th post! Thanks to all of you who have been reading over the years, and of course to my newer followers too. Here's to always improving and experimenting!

Righteo, lots of pics today! Click the jump to read more about this colour-changing polish and cool stamp :)

So, first things first--the polish! This one does not have a name, but it can be found here and it is number 110. A shimmery light greenish-teal that changes to a dusty darker blue when it gets cold. It's quite warm here, so the only way I could get it to change is by dipping it in ice water. In cooler climates, this gradient look would happen automatically and look incredible all the time!

But even when it's all one colour, it's a really pretty one. Here is three coats of 110 plus topcoat:

I used Konad white stamping polish to add the floral pattern from one of the BPS stamping plates--number BP-55, a "buffet" style plate:

This isn't great quality, but I got some video of the change as I dipped my fingers into ice water:

The whole time I was wearing this one, I couldn't get it to change without the cold water. Of course, now that it's no longer on my nails, it's been rainy and cool all day and the bottle is showing a darker blue, lol. Not the darkest it goes, kind of a nice periwinkle halfway-point...

There we go then, I think that's enough pics to show all the facets of this one as well as the stamp, which is well-etched and good quality. :) You can find these products as well as so many more options on Born Pretty Store's website--use discount code CITYG10 to get 10% off your order!

Hope you enjoyed this one. Thanks for reading--see you soon for more! xoxo
