BPS Review | Thermal Polish & Clear Stamper

Hiya! I'm back with more Born Pretty Store goodies. The one I am most excited about is the CLEAR STAMPER! I combined that with the green thermal polish they sent me to create this look:

The polish glides on easily, covers in two coats, and dries so glossy I wouldn't have even needed a topcoat :D but I knew I was stamping, so I added a coat of Seche Vite and let it dry.

The rose stamp is from Mash plate 36, and I used Born Pretty Store red and green stamping polishes on it. I got some bad mobile phone photos of the process, but they do show how easy it is to see through this and place the image on your nail:

I'm certainly not the first person to talk about this, but DAMN it is a game-changer! One of the big things putting me off stamping sometimes is the lack of precision. This eliminates that. I might even be able to stamp straight lines one day... but for now I'm going to admire my perfectly-placed roses. Except the index nail. I twitched when stamping that one and it went off to the side a bit >.<

In hot water, the polish goes very light lime green.

This pic was taken with my hand stuck in the freezer--you can definitely see the difference in colour.

A close-up. You can't see it, but I have a little piece of ice directly under the free edge, which is why that line is going across--it's actually getting a bit frosty on my nail! But the tip shows the darkest green of this polish, and the base near the cuticle is still pretty warm, so it's a lovely gradient.

Both of these are so cool! Make sure to get yours from Born Pretty Store, and use my discount code CITYG10 for 10% off your order, which ships free anywhere in the world :)

I won't be able to get through this entire batch of products without using that clear stamper again, so stay tuned... xoxo
