Pastel Holo Gradient--Easter 2014

Hello my dears! Here's a Eastery pastel gradient mani... with a holographic twist, because you know me.

You down with G-City? Yeah, you know me.

You may recognise that accent nail ;)  The silver holo from my birthday manicure started chipping and peeling fairly quickly, but this one stayed firm--and probably would until the end of time, if I didn't take it off. I decided to leave it for one more mani and just re-do the rest of the nails. I had planned to do a soft pastel gradient, but I didn't think it would work with such a "loud" accent, so I did holographic pastels instead!

I used a makeup sponge to create the gradient with three Color Club Halo Hues: Over The Moon (blue), Eternal Beauty (purple), and Miss Bliss (pink). Topped with KBShimmer Clearly On Top. (And just as a reminder, the accent nail is a glitter-placement with the pieces of OPI I Snow You Love Me.)

Outdoors in shade, where you can see the pastels best. :)
Indoors with flash. Kaboom, rainbows! I will never get tired of holos. I'll be wearing them when I'm 80, I swear.
And outside in the sun.

I hope you liked this design :) happy Good Friday to those of you for whom it is still the 18th, and happy Easter weekend to all. I'll have one more Easter design up for Sunday. See you then! xoxo
